Symmetrical means your upload speed matches your download speed. If you have a 1 Gig plan, you get 1 Gbps down and 1 Gbps up. Cable providers typically offer upload speeds 10-20x slower than download.

Installation

Installation is done in two parts. First, a fiber drop is run to the outside of your home, typically a day or so before the install appointment. Then a technician installs the NID and ONT and sets up your router, which takes about 60-90 minutes.

Installation is free. If you cancel service within the first 90 days, a $199 drop recovery fee applies.

No -- a Wi-Fi router is included with every plan at no extra charge. You're also welcome to use your own equipment if you prefer.

You can pay online at billing.securenetfiber.com, or call our office. We accept checks, debit cards, and bank bill pay.

Billing starts on the date your service is activated. You'll receive your first bill within 30 days of installation.
